”Piglets – But a Short time to Live”, or in everyday language, abbreviated to “Piglets” was purchased in connection with the artists exhibition “Under Belägring” (Under Siege) in the Art Hall, Skövde Cultural Center, 2010. The sculptures are similar to the cartoon version of piglets and the artist made the pigs out of pink granite, with marble eyes. The playful pigs were first placed outside Skövde Cultural center, where they awoke attention and strong feelings that came to life in several letters to the newspapers, both pro and con. When the Cultural Center was rebuilt in 2013 the sculptures were moved to Storgatan.
